Edinburgh Exclusive Use Wedding Hotel Venue

Due to the nature of the Howard Hotel - a group of elegant, beautifully preserved Georgian townhouses in the heart of Edinburgh - we cater for weddings that have over 30 guests on an exclusive use basis. The hotel is then closed to the public from 12 noon on your wedding day until 12 noon the following day, unless you wish it to be exclusively yours for longer. Exclusive use ensures that your guests - up to 40 people - can freely enjoy all the areas of The Howard, and that you can create your very own, unique wedding house-party in Scotland.

The Drawing Room is the perfect venue for champagne and cocktails beneath the sparkling chandelier, immediately after the ceremony. Guests are then ushered by your butler, acting as Master of Ceremonies, to our immaculate Georgian events suite, the Oval and Cumberland rooms, for lunch or dinner. This can be a fully seated event, a buffet, or a stand-up drinks party with canapés. We love nothing more than to see the magnificent dining table in the Cumberland room fully set for a banquet, with crystal, fine china, white linen and flowers.

The facility fee for exclusive use of The Howard is £1500, including:

· Exclusive use of the hotel and garden from 12 noon on your wedding day until 12 noon the following day

· Personalised menus

· Place cards

· Candles

· A professionally trained butler to act as Master of Ceremonies

· Accommodation in a hotel suite for the bride and groom on their wedding night, with full Scottish breakfast
