The Howard is located in Great King Street, in the cobblestoned heart of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. From here it's a very short taxi ride, or a slightly uphill walk, to the business districts and to the central shopping and sightseeing attractions of Edinburgh.

Full, personalised service which includes your own dedicated Events Coordinator to help with the ideas (flowers, candles, drinks, entertainment etc), planning and tailor-making of an event; attention to detail is one of our great strengths.
Elegant and atmospheric surroundings for a wedding reception - 18 rooms and suites plus the Events Suite - for a wedding or any other private house party.
Favourable accommodation rate at the hotel for you and your guests or colleagues, if you're holding an event. We can also add in treats for your guests, such as an in-room gift or an off-duty, tutored whisky tasting. If more accommodation is required, we can get the best rates possible from our sister properties in Edinburgh, The Bonham, Channings and the Edinburgh Residence.
