The Town House Company's new hotel in Glasgow has now officially been named 'Blythswood Square'.
Peter Taylor, Chairman of the company has commented ''Blythswood Square was actually one of the first names we considered. We believe that the building is a landmark in Glasgow city centre and that the name reflects its historical significance and attractive environment".
When complete, the Georgian building will have 88 luxury bedrooms and incorporate many aspects of the original building. It will also house a state-of-the art spa and extensive conference facilities. Work is expected to be complete by the end of 2008 with the hotel open for business early 2009.
