Deluxe Hotel Rooms in Edinburgh Scotland

In recognition of the great Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, who lived at 14 South Learmonth Gardens, one of the Channings townhouses, we have created three wonderful, oversized Shackleton Suites and two (slightly smaller) Shackleton Rooms.

Each of the Shackleton Suites was previously two hotel rooms, with views out over the rooftops of Edinburgh, so the new suites and bathrooms are generously proportioned, and have rolltop baths and walk-in showers.

Contemporary styling uses bold colour, striking black-and-white photography of Shackleton's expeditions to the coldest places on earth, and underfloor heating to ensure you stay a lot warmer than he did - even during the winter in Scotland.
